The CNC Shop's mission is to make high quality wooden pieces with precision cutting in America.

“Knowing that these toys we’re making are for children makes this truly a labor of love.”

We believe in radical transparency. Playclips are made by incredible crafts people, who are consciously minimizing waste by designing and cutting our wooden toys in earth-friendly ways. Any sawdust or leftover wood pieces are donated locally to families in need of winter kindling.

From the beginning, Sarah Silk's has prioritized a moral responsibility to the earth and its people. It has always been important to us that our manufacturing process be sensitive to the environment, and that the people involved at every step of the process are treated with respect, receive a fair wage, and are not expected to work in uncomfortable or hazardous conditions. We have the pleasure of visiting the facilities where our wooden toys are made, and meeting the skilled people who hand-cut and sand our products. We grateful and proud knowing the great care and attention to detail that goes into each and every one of our wooden toys.
